Hunley Project
The SCLA has worked very closely with the Friends of the Hunley and the Confederate Heritage Trust towards recovering the submarine, H. L. Hunley, and assuring the crews have a proper resting place. We have compiled photos of the recovery on August 8, 2000, and invite you to relive that special moment with us. We have also prepared an extensive page of links to other site with information about the Hunley. If you have links or photos you would like for us to include, please mail or email them to the address below.

Civil War Handbook
“The Civil War Re-enactors Handbook” is simply “Everything you always wanted to know about Civil War Reenacting and were afraid to ask”! With this book you will be able to go out into your camp and not feel like a foreigner. You will be up to speed with the lingo and tricks of the trade. It took me years to figure some of this stuff and I even learned a few things while putting this book together.
